Content Marketing Strategist
As a content strategist, I focus on creating a consistent and focused content message. I build all of my multi-media content around a central, quarterly theme and work with a team of writers, editors, and designers to execute it. This includes a mix of SEO-optimized blog posts, whitepapers, podcasts, videos, and more.
I've used Moz extensively to analyze specific keywords, find opportunities for the business, and then optimize my content to rank for those keywords. For my current company, I helped increase organic traffic by 3X in less than a year.
I created informative and original SaaS analytics content for InsightSquared, including blog posts, eBooks and a podcast. I managed every aspect of InsightSquared's SaaS Analytics podcast, Ramp. As the podcast host, I found the most innovative voices in sales, marketing, VC, and analytics to interview for our listeners. I did extensive research, conducted interviews, and edited every episode. I then promoted each podcast episode extensively, through blog posts, paid promotion, influencer partnerships and more. In the first year, the podcast was downloaded more than 30,000 times, was featured in iTunes New and Noteworthy, and was named one of the Top 10 Podcasts in Boston by VentureFizz. I also wrote for InsightSquared's blog, which got more than 150,000 visitors per month. I focused on a variety of topics, including sales, sales management, analytics, and Software-as-a-Service. I also wrote lengthy eBooks on these same topics that generated business leads directly for the sales team. In addition, I worked closely with top customers to write detailed case studies on how InsightSquared helped SaaS companies grow using data.
I work with startups to create a powerful content strategy for their brand, aligning target personas and messaging, website copywriting, whitepapers, blog posts, case studies, podcasts and other content.
I create the content strategy for Zaius, the B2C CRM. In this role, I manage everything from our brand tone and voice to creating and editing content across every channel. I focus on everything content-related: blogs, video, podcasting, eBooks, PR, analyst relations, etc.
I majored in print (!) journalism.
